The Galloping Gertie model is now on show in the Whistlestop Buffet at the S&CR. The amazing model has been built by John Appleton.

At the inaugural meeting, more than 30 people turned up to offer their support. The Galloping Gertie model was unveiled by Ken Gibbs after the presentation. To end the meeting, a "passing round of the top hat" produced sufficient response to raise the total in the locomotive's fund to around £500; an excellent start.

Publicity Stand

On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th May there will be a publicity stand at the Swindon and Cricklade Railways Beer Weekend. You are welcome to come along and chat with us about the project.
The stand will be at all major events on the S&CR.
